Aýdyň Gijeler, General Sponsor of the "Kids Expo: Everything for Children" Fair
Aýdyň Gijeler was the general sponsor of the international exhibition and fair "Kids Expo: Everything for Children," held from 19 to 22 August. The company took part with its own pavilion, presenting its products for children and showcasing its manufacturing capabilities. Our reason for taking part is straightforward: children's health, safety and happiness guide what we build. At Kids Expo we showed both the technologies we already produce and the solutions we are preparing to launch. Smart locks for homes with children The company is preparing a new line of smart locks. They open by fingerprint, and also by card, PIN code and Wi-Fi. Such a lock does two jobs at once: it keeps strangers out and stops a small child from leaving the house without an adult. An SOS function is also planned, which unlocks the door automatically in an emergency such as a fire. We do more than sell the devices. Our specialists install them in the customer's home and handle servicing afterwards (a paid service). For parents, this means peace of mind about their children and a properly secured home. In developing these solutions, the company draws on the humanitarian programmes led by Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. Monitors for children's dental clinics The number of private medical centres and paediatric dental clinics in the country keeps growing, yet dental treatment remains stressful for children. We propose manufacturing multimedia dental monitors — screens for showing cartoons — here in Turkmenistan. They mount directly onto the dental chair at the child's eye level, keeping the child distracted during treatment. Demand from clinics for such devices is high. Laptops for first-graders, and projectors instead of televisions The second launch at the fair was our updated laptop for first-year pupils. The company has produced these under state contract since 2022, and more than 300,000 units have been delivered to schoolchildren over that period. For many children this laptop is their first personal window into learning, and we take that responsibility seriously. A further proposal concerns kindergartens and pre-school preparation centres. Children are usually shown material on televisions today, but direct screen light is harmful to their eyesight. We propose producing projector systems instead: the image is reflected off the wall, which is safer for the eyes. Each projector would come preloaded with a vetted library of children's animation — educational content only. This work is carried out together with the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, in line with the Law on State Youth Policy and the related State Programme for 2026–2030, as well as the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy for 2026–2028. The company brings its products to market under the motto "Towards a Healthy Future."
