Aýdyň Gijeler at CIET-2026: A New Direction — Hot-Dip Galvanizing of Metal
From 3 to 5 November 2026, the International Conference and Exhibition CIET-2026, entitled “Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan”, was held in Ashgabat at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The forum was dedicated to the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex. Economic Society Aýdyň Gijeler acted as the event’s Prime Partner. CIET-2026 became one of the year’s largest industry platforms. More than 800 delegates from 60 countries took part in the event, including representatives of government institutions, manufacturers, investors, financial institutions and technology suppliers. The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the Government, diplomats and representatives of international organisations. A congratulatory message from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was read out to the participants and guests. The forum’s motto, “Innovation. Investment. Growth.”, reflected its main objective: to connect national development priorities with modern technologies and investment. For our Economic Society, partnering with such a forum is not only recognition of its role in the development of the country’s construction and industrial complex, but also an opportunity to demonstrate the growth of our production capabilities. Since 2016, Aýdyň Gijeler has developed into a diversified manufacturing group. Today, we operate more than ten production facilities. Our products include lighting equipment and road infrastructure equipment, cables, metal structures, profiles and pipes, electronics under national brands, and much more. The main highlight of our exhibition was a new area of activity — hot-dip galvanizing of metal. For the first time, we presented samples of products treated at our hot-dip galvanizing facility. The coating is applied in accordance with the international standard ISO 1461. It protects metal structures against corrosion and significantly extends their service life. This is particularly important for the oil and gas industry, energy sector, construction, road infrastructure and mechanical engineering. The facility is equipped with modern machinery. The galvanizing bath is 13 metres long, allowing us to process large-sized products, including lighting poles and power transmission line supports, metal structures, beams, pipes and profiles. The facility’s production capacity exceeds 80,000 tonnes of metal per year. It is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the region. The new area of activity attracted considerable interest. Our stand welcomed a large number of visitors throughout all three days of the exhibition. Specialists from construction, industrial and energy companies made detailed enquiries about the technology, coating quality, production capacity and terms of cooperation. Many meetings concluded with agreements to continue discussions. The launch of the hot-dip galvanizing facility marks an important step in the development of our Economic Society’s metallurgical operations. Our own production will enable us to supply the domestic market with high-quality products featuring reliable anti-corrosion protection that meets international requirements. It will also help reduce dependence on imports and expand into export markets, including participation in projects across the Caspian region. In addition to the exhibition, representatives of our Economic Society took part in the forum’s business programme, including the plenary session, thematic panels and B2B and B2G meetings. These meetings helped strengthen relations with partners and opened up new opportunities for cooperation. We would like to thank all visitors to our stand for their interest in our products. We are open to cooperation and invite our partners to discuss orders for hot-dip galvanizing services.
